Refund & cancellation policy
This policy covers DocAPI prepaid API credit packs and related paid plans sold for the Air Waybill → JSON API on getdocapi.com.

Free tier
The monthly free allowance (100 extractions) is complimentary. It has no purchase price and is not refundable (nothing was charged).
Unused credit packs
If you buy a prepaid credit pack and have not used any credits from that purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date by emailing support@getdocapi.com with your order / receipt ID. Approved unused-pack refunds are processed through the original payment channel (via the MoR when applicable).
Consumed extractions
Credits consumed by a successful extraction (HTTP 200 with JSON returned, including responses with needs_review: true) are non-refundable. Partial refunds for a pack are limited to the unused credit portion only when we agree a refund is due (for example, unused remainder within the 14-day window on an otherwise eligible order—or a clear billing error).
Service failures
If a request fails before a billable result (e.g. HTTP 4xx/5xx that does not burn a credit per our pricing rules), no credit is due and no refund is needed. If we incorrectly charged a credit for a failed call, contact support and we will restore the credit or refund that unit.
Subscriptions (Starter — coming soon)
When monthly subscriptions launch, cancellations stop future renewals; the current period’s included quota is generally non-refundable once the period has started, except where required by law or MoR policy.
How to request
- Email support@getdocapi.com with subject “Refund request”.
- Include purchase email, order/receipt ID, and whether any credits were used.
- We aim to respond within a few business days (Asia/Shanghai).
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback so we can resolve unused-credit or billing issues quickly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.
